With the festive season right around the corner and record growth, you can only imagine what new heights Audi can hit. According to a recent article by The Economic Times, Audi is expecting just that. Audi stated that a robust product lineup is fueling its expansion in India, and it anticipates concluding the 2023 calendar year with growth in the high double digits.
Audi India head Balbir Singh Dhillon said the company retailed 3,474 units in the first half of this year witnessing a healthy 97 percent growth. “I am sure this growth will continue in the balance five months as well. We also had good sales in July. So we will end up at a high double-digit growth this year,” Dhillon said at the launch of the new electric SUV Audi Q8 e-tron.

“Our SUVs have witnessed a growth of 217 percent and our performance cars have grown by 127 percent. With the festive season, we are expecting this demand and growth to continue,” he noted. Furthermore, Dhillon stated that the company is not prioritizing market positioning based on numbers as “we want to run a business that is sustainable and profitable for our dealer partners.”

The company continues to see strong demand for models like A4, A6, Q3, and Q5, among other models as well. That’s not even including their electric lineup. “With our recent launches, Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron, we now have the widest EV portfolio in the segment. We are confident of good demand during the festive season for our electric range,” Dhillon said.
