Today is a special day as Audi Sport GmbH celebrates its 40th anniversary. It all started with Quattro GmbH, and to mark the occasion, Audi began hosting events in early summer, including an exhibition at the Neckarsulm facility and celebrations during the Nürburgring 24 Hours. On Saturday, October 14th, there will be an exclusive event at the Audi Forum Neckarsulm. Attendees will get exciting insights into the high-performance subsidiary that has been successful for 40 years.
An exclusive event with an informative and entertaining program will be held for the public in and around the Audi Forum Neckarsulm. The event will start at 11 a.m. and Audi Sport GmbH and AUDI AG will be present personally and openly on the factory grounds of the Neckarsulm facility. The employees of the four rings are taking advantage of this anniversary year’s highlight to offer customers and fans comprehensive information.
Those who are interested will have the opportunity to take exclusive tours of the neighboring Böllinger Höfe production plant, which is a part of the Neckarsulm facility. This is where Audi Sport GmbH manufactures its first all-electric RS model, the Audi RS e-tron GT, and the Audi R8. Several historic and current models from the Audi Sport GmbH portfolio will also be on display, such as the all-wheel-drive Audi S1 e-tron quattro Hoonitron prototype and the Audi RS e-tron GT ice race edition.
The sales successes of recent years confirm Audi Sport GmbH’s strategy. In 2022, the company achieved a sales record with 45,515 vehicles sold, an increase of 15.6% from the previous year. These numbers really do reflect their saying, “Proud past, even stronger future.” Here’s to another successful 40 years.
