Electrikhana 2, Audi S1 Hoonitron, Ken Block
Electrikhana 2 was recorded in November 2022 using the Audi S1 Hoonitron, just a few weeks before Ken Block’s snowmobile accident, which resulted in his death at the age of 55. The film’s completion and release by Hoonigan held a significant emotional significance for Block’s family, who wanted to honor his memory.
To remind you, the Audi Sport team developed an all-electric prototype specifically for Ken Block. This unique car is equipped with two electric motors, all-wheel drive, a carbon fiber chassis, and has a total output of 500 kW. The vehicle also meets all the safety standards set forth by the FIA, the highest motorsport authority. After filming the first Electrikhana episode in August 2022, the S1 Hoonitron was further developed in collaboration with Ken Block. This included reducing its weight, improving its drivability, and simulating gear changes for a better driving experience.
