Audi Sport GmbH celebrated 40 years of existence with the debut of the Audi RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition, a limited-edition model limited to only 99 units in Europe. Although there is no information about pricing it is likely to be high. The RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition has a complex exterior design, with a base color of Florett silver metallic and a “foil wrap” with transparent sections. The three-dimensional effect is created by striking shades of white against the base color and using it to create a frosted appearance. Audi says the design concept was inspired by ice crystals and the purple accents on the grille are said to be inspired by ski goggles.

The focus of the Audi’s interior is on the seat center panels, shoulder arches, and side bolsters, which are all adorned in diamond silver leather and feature black elements as well as a contrasting stitch in the color of purple. The steering wheel is comprised of a combination of leather and Alcantara. The RS logo adorn the floor mats and Audi Exclusive badges are an option for Audi customers. The cabin features both purple ambient lighting and purple LED lighting as well.

The same powertrain utilized in the Audi RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition is the same as the standard model. It outputs 637 horsepower or 590hp during boost mode. The car can go up to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and has a 232-mile range with its battery.
