The VW Golf R is a powerful and exciting car to drive. However, the Audi RS3 and the Audi S5 are two cars that are in a completely different league when it comes to performance, let alone a drag race. In this recent video by Sam CarLegion, they push these cars to the limit in both a drag race and a roll race. But these cars are far from stock. Both of these cars have been heavily tuned to increase horsepower and torque, So let’s dive in.
2018 Audi RS3

First up, we have the 2018 Audi RS3. This small sedan is the ultimate expression of Audi’s performance capabilities. It features a 2.5-liter turbocharged 5-cylinder engine and 7-speed DCT transmission. This one has a Unitronic stage 2 ECU and TCU, Unitronic intake, downpipes, and midpipes, allowing it to put down an impressive 500whp.
2022 Audi S5

Next up is the 2022 Audi S5. The S5 is a luxurious sports coupe that is sure to turn heads. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine and consists of a few bolt-ons, such as an 03 stage 2 ECU, CTS intake, and catless downpipes. With these mods, it is pushing 420whp on 93-pump gas. This engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
2022 Volkswagen Golf R

Last, we have the 2022 Volkswagen Golf R. This car features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a Unitronic stage 1+ tune, Racingline intake, Remus exhaust, and a Unitronic intercooler pushing it to 420whp. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and also has an all-wheel drive system for better handling and performance.
