Audi has suddenly stopped selling the RS Q3 in the UK, including both the regular and Sportback versions. This means that local customers have one less performance-focused SUV model to choose from, which could be disappointing for the most devoted car enthusiasts. However, it is important to note that the RS Q3 has not been discontinued due to low demand.
An Audi UK spokesperson has confirmed that the two models have been closed for ordering because the “volume of orders taken has filled our current production capacity into 2024.” But what does this mean? As the new generation of Q3 is set for a 2025 release, recent RS Q3 orders may be the last unless sales reopen briefly next year. But why are these SUV’s selling out?

Here’s why, It simply has a range of premium features that make it stand out from other vehicles in its segment. For starters, it has a powerful 2.5L turbocharged engine that can produce up to 400 horsepower, giving drivers the performance they crave. Additionally, it has a range of advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring. The interior is quite luxurious, with comfortable, adjustable leather seating, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a digital instrument panel. All of these features make the Audi RS Q3 a great choice for those looking for a high-performance vehicle with luxury touches.

At this point, the future of the Audi RS Q3 remains unknown. It is unclear if the next-generation Q3 will include a high-performance combustion-powered model or hybrid or if the RS Q3 will become a potent EV. Audi is no stranger to developing performance EVs, such as the E-Tron GT, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see a more powerful variant of the Q3 take on the form of an electric.

However, Audi also has a long tradition of powering its performance models with gasoline/diesel combustion engines, so it’s also possible that the next RS Q3 could keep its tradition alive. It’s ultimately too early to make any definitive predictions, as Audi has been tight-lipped about the specifics of its upcoming RS performance models. Nonetheless, the possibilities are exciting, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the performance-focused SUV.
